Ok fine I'll do the #2009vs2019 thing.
Still drawing monsters. Just cranked up the saturation levels 🐉🔥
@bigsneks there's a oversaturation of mainstream character designs with boring-ass straight hair and i wish we got more curly/poofy hair in characters nowadays
i think the fact that one of the only anime characters i can think of w/ different hair than usual is a fucking horse says a lot
my irkensona is just my special excuse to draw with max saturation colors on 2 layers like a heathen
Here's the lineart sketch + a version of the final piece with less contrast (which was what I exported from CSP before I decided to yeET the saturation further)
it's one of those "color something with excessive glowy effects and saturation for self-care" kinda nights and @catuallie's awesome art prompt was perfect, thank u so much AND IM SORRY FOR REUPLOADING SNDFJKS
#decadeofart
Whenever I feel like I'm not making any progress, I make a comparison to my old pieces. I once believed I was a great manga artist (15 y/o me was dumb)
Now I just need to find some saturation again! :'D
Some studies🌱

hhhhhhh Handler brainworms at max saturation in my skull...but big fat goths still have a fast pass to my heart.
Here's a Gigantamax Goth Girl, because someone at Game Freak must have known where this gimmick would lead.
Sana (I've f*ck up the saturation, but anyways) my baby is hereeee #twicefanart #sanatwice #fancyfanart
@jakekiley_ Silvertone isn’t really an accurate representation for value. You are better off just taking the saturation to 0...
Revisited my cloud shader today, mostly to try and get out of my comfort zone when it comes to colors 🎨
Having positive saturation values in the color grading post-processing module was a struggle for me.

aight so here's my first kinda attempt at making art in #procreate ... I really dig all the brush settings and finger smearing, lol.
Missing the fast lightness/saturation slider from Autodesk Sketchbook, though. And the symmetry from it. Hopefully it comes in the new version!
