René Magritte’s “Le seize septembre” (1957), sold for remarkable $19.7m at Christie’s NY yesterday. The solitary tree, invoking primeval forests and Yggdrasil, the “world ash” of Norse mythology, enigmatically combined with the transient crescent moon.

Apparently in the game when you do the battle tree, Guzma can use mega evolution and Z-moves. So our boy finally completed a trial...Nanu's?!

I made up a toponymic glyph for the city-state of in

The lower part is taken from conquest glyphs carved in Monte Albán.
"Zaa" means cloud, so I added the cloud glyph, and on top of it a zapote tree, from the nahuatl name for the city: "Teozapotlan"

Three spooky figures loom far in the background of Mario Galaxy 2's Shiverburn Galaxy.

The filename for these figures is "HellValleySkyTree," most likely referencing a real world Japanese location and spirits known as kodama, who are said to inhabit trees.

My mother she killed me,
My father he ate me,
My sister, little Marlinchen,
Gathered together all my bones,
Tied them in a silken handkerchief,
Laid them beneath the juniper-tree,
Kywitt, kywitt, what a beautiful bird am I!

Inktober 21, 2019:

Working on the next panels’ backgrounds(or, to be more accurate, “environments”).I separated my last panel of yesterday from the work I did today in picture 2.

Picture 3:I’m really proud of that tree, so I zoomed in on it. My tree rendering has evolved a lot.

A rhinoceros, who is a balloon, is grinding his horn into a tree, which is... also a balloon.
Why does a (balloonie) rhino need to grind their horn? =_=
Actually... why not? >w>
