Yu-Gi-Oh introduced Melffy, an archetype comprised of absolutely adorable little playful fluffy plushies of the forest. It became my favorite archetype so I thought making fancards was a great motivation to draw.

4. For my favourite archetype, I have 2. I love playing as zoners as it lets me relax and calmy approach a situation. Characters like Dormamu in UMvC3, Frieza in Fighterz and Nu-13 from Blazblue is actually really fun. The other one is Akuma. They are Akuma or close enough.

Another sticker design?

Frightfurs is one of those decks I enjoy playing and their artwork is super cool

Plus they don't really suffer the whole "it's better in other decks" trend that happens when Konami makes new support for less competitive archetypes

As much flack as GX gets I think it's also beloved because almost every character comes out of the series with some form of character growth

Tho I was more weirded out by Zane trying to splice in that awful CyberDark archetype into his deck than his whole "life is pain" makeover

i'll never get over how cool summoned skull is. yugi's deck being split between heroic fantasy archetypes and demonic looking beasts blew my mind as a kid and i still love it to this day. all of these cards are classics for good reason
