Happy September friends! I'm . ❤️

Here are the newest pieces from my Origin Stories Collection, made in the similar spirit and design of my physical paintings from the early 2000s.

I hope you enjoy them as much as I liked making them!

The mid 90s to early 2000s was great for JRPGs but it was also my favorite time for platformers! Did you guys have any favorites?

Getting better at that early to mid-2000s design language. This time featuring Toru and his daughter, Chisa.

Remember that 9 volume manga back in the mid 2000s called "Serenity" that spawned a meme....

Thank you! I was shooting for something akin to the Flaming Lips album covers from the early 2000s.

Tried doing an MP style Lara, as far as I know he never did characters with a kind of late 90s / early 2000s vibe so trying to figure out how she might look in his style was tricky.

During development we decided to set the game in the Early 2000s. Which is why I had Shark Girl holding a flip phone here for the song teaser. Not sure if I will stick with this phone design for the the final game though.

I've watched enough anime at this point that I can eye digital vs traditional, which turned over in the early 2000s
I also have a very strict no digital rule, which is why I couldn't post the sequel to Saber Marionette J- cuz it had terrible early digital animation.

I hate 2k fashion with passion.
But one thing i will always love about the 2000s (and 90s, kinda) will be its design and visuals.
Stuff like GoGo's, Cartoon Network, DesignersRepublic...
Early 3D graphics, the Demoscene, screensavets, album covers, music videos...

Has a complete mental breakdown for a solid 20 minutes….
Immediately proceeds to down a bottle of water and obnoxiously sing 2000s pop songs at myself in the mirror
