Goodnight my amazing lovelies. More poems and things in store for you tomorrow. The queen needs some rest after her hunt. Thank you all for being members of my court. I appreciate all of you. Much love. Sleep well and pleasant screams. 🦇💜 #gothicbeauties #gothicart (not my art)
My poems are a window into my soul
The darkest recesses of my past
The words scrawled on the page
Have helped me heal
Perhaps they will help you
So take a moment
To walk into my mind
Welcome to
Into the Dark
Where my demons hide

The best book of 2020 is “Still Life,” writes T. J. Clark: “Many poets write poems about paintings; few, I think, have cared more for the art than Ciaran Carson, and found a stronger, simpler way of saying so.” https://t.co/piOSBQIDE4

Then we got used to it: every December, the house suddenly

I have updated Into the Dark, two new poems are available for your enjoyment. I think they are fitting since it is evening where I am. All my poems are old, I wrote them during my high school years and young twenties. I'll continue posting them. https://t.co/pfMwpNc0CF

V excited to start this mini project with Y8 in our whole school ‘Big Read’ week. As part of their ‘Our Town’ project, students will read poems by local people about memories of Cramlington, and create mixed media & digital illustrated pieces in response to what they’ve read.
Hear some of these beautiful winter poems at our special online event with @NLIreland on 4th December https://t.co/ff9i6jUSgn
Today we learned about Haiku poems and used the illustrations from nature in Flotsam by David Weisner as inspiration. We used the iPads to capture images and to display our poetry. We all enjoyed using digital technology to present our writing!
