【大河津26】150年前の1870（明治3）年5月17日に大河津分水の掘削工事がスタートしました。この工事はやがて中止されてしまい実現しませんでした。工事機械はなく、人力で掘削しました。当時の資料にはアリのように多くの人々が工事している姿が描かれています。
