Since people are talking about Gundams and gatekeeping apparently, just thought I’d mention I’ve been watching OG Gundam lately. So far I’m into it. It’s definitely one of those sci-do shows you underestimate because it’s so old, you think it’d be corny and dumb, but it’s not.
I agree with gatekeeping in the sense of vetting people to keep out bad actors who want to infiltrate, change, and hollow out what they don’t like. But setting arbitrary criteria like what shows you need to watch and where you can watch them is just asinine. TERRIBLE messaging.
