in early 2021 I had qualities that would be issues for me now (stiffer poses, different facial proportions, less willingness to redraw, not drawing limbs thick enough, etc.) that started improving after about July or August, like here’s a sketch each from January & December 2021

@SleepyKitzy @whisperwoIf Nah it's not just you. It throws off his proportions. Sonic's modern look was made with his long quills in mind. So keeping his proportions long while his quills are shorter, looks off. Sonic with shorter quills works better if his body is shorter too like here

I was bored and I wanted to take the day to practice some styles and proportions for the bodies that I would like to do with respect to sonic (I even used TWEWY xD as a reference), I just did them to clear my mind and kill some time ^^
