I love using the Copic airbrush. Only downside is that marker can’t be applied where it was airbrush. It breaks up the airbrushed ink.

Work from life or photo reference. Be analytical. Spend 10-30 minutes per pose. Notice the little stuff. Take notes on what you notice. Draw 10, then 100, then 1000. Don’t be in a rush.

The next thing I do is shade clothes with a round brush.
Then I reduce the opacity of lineart to 50%, set shading layer to multiply and merge. I turn my flats layer back on to see what this looks like before doing lights.
