like anything else, it'll take time and practice to make your fat characters feel genuine and "appealing" (which can mean many things; there is no singular type of appeal). but to me it's very worth it!

This was a quick doodle of a character design. Many of the features are quite appealing to me; the angular face, the scarf, the hard eyes. I like the hair as well. The hat reminds me of a potted plant.
