One of my friends made a post like this for JRPGS, so I though to make my own.
2D platformers really do just have the best final bosses.
I should check my facts. Maybe the Ghost is not in Arc, but is in the prequel? It's just a mega-map platformer, so I like to explore as much as I can, and enjoy the beautifully-drawn sprites that are intent on killing me. (Except those blue ones.. they just look like willies.) 😮

Just finished a playthrough of Iconoclasts, a game released in 2018. I have to say it's CRIMINAL this wasn't talked more, it was truly a hidden gem! Give it a try, especially if you love platformer shooters similar to metroid and megaman!
So, I had remembered a few characters from several years ago that I had thought of... this is the appropriately named character, Squirrel Mechanic! IIRC, he was the star of some sort of puzzle platformer game that I had thought of.. lol

@ProZD Evan's Remains was a short puzzle platformer, and cheap on Switch. Beat it in one sitting on release. Defs recommend it.

The first game of 2021 I beat was Horace and I had a great time, I highly recommend it. A puzzle-platformer with a strong story at its core, filled with classic game and movie references and British pop-culture. The game is on Switch and Steam for fairly cheap.
