Some screenshots of the process I use to make these portraits..
I start with linework, then add shading, then add where I want my bright light source to be, and finally I add it around bumps and curves to create a ‘glow’

Hair is a mess of curves xDD was a pain to try to figure out how to add 2 colors on each side of the hair strands, anyway close to finished with the modeling phase but, so tired and I still have to find a way to join the skirt thingies to the dress.
