If we had waited until the character was finished, it would have been a design nightmare to go back and change things like this.. With the cutscene animations blocked out and the scale agreed on. could come in and direct the cutscene, creating multiple storyboards..

PinkyPills did not draw this, that was LadyFiszi. The way Fiszi drew the characters is similar to the cast in the "Revenge of the Bear" cutscenes.

However, Pinky did the in-game graphics for FiS2 to replace Scott's old MS-Paint artwork. We'll cover that later.

It's funny how in the final cutscene of Bowser's Fury you can clearly see SM3DW Mario's model swapping face masks in a single frame.
I think SMO Mario was the first to have facial bones. Other SMO models have them too but weirdly enough Luigi has face and hand swaps instead
