Two artfight 2022 thingies I managed to conjure up throughout the month! Characters belong to @/Esai2005 and @/Atmoth_Art respectively.
At this point ArtFight is mostly an excuse for me to experiment with styles other than paintings xD

@rumena_aktar @jonnybid @one_to_read I’d always go more leftfield in terms of choice - something they’re not expecting / know.
Possible choices could include this classic Chris Van Allsburg (surrealism, mood/atmosphere), storytelling/music (Dam), War/difference (F&F) or authentically written graphic spreads (WSAS)
working on some thumbnails for a short im scripting to try and capture the mood/atmosphere (yes ive been obsessed with the seaside since i was a child)
I don't really like these. I get excited by ideas you can only pull off with specific settings/chars - but without consideration for mood/atmosphere. So the results can be overcomplicated and/or overdramatic-looking.🤔

Probably the most important comics for me as a kid. Introduced me to deep well rotten lore, complex and interesting characters/relationships, weird surreal tone/atmosphere and mature storytelling. Also TWD is why I used to only buy trades from image.
