Zomerschoon tulip (1620) - painted ~1650s by the amazing Balthasar vd Ast. After 5y of trying to get my hands on this variety I've now managed to get hold of 5 bulbs. People traded fine canal houses for these, and it all came crashing down in 1637. I'll be celebrating all day.
