Johanna Herolt (1668-1723): Germanic botanical artist born into a prominent family of Science & Art. In 1691, she moved to Amsterdam, where she set up a studio painting flowers & botanical subjects. In 1711, she moved to Surinam; paintings various flora there.

Basket of Flowers - twice- by Juan de Arellano (©Museo Nacional del Prado) Apparently these were his stock-in-trade and he completed many in his lifetime. These ate 1668-70. You can play spot the difference, if you like.
