You'll see Tōrea or Oystercatchers on most NZ coastlines, and as their english name suggests they mainly eat a seafood diet. There are three types of Oystercatchers, their feathers range from black & white to entirely black, the more south you go the blacker they are. (1/2)

Here is my first skin concept for Epitaph. Wokou Epitaph

Its based off the Wokou, which translates into 'Japanese pirates', they raided the coastlines of Japan, Korea and China. They were comprised of poor people of different ethnicities and used old mismatched equipment.
