Only briefly seen Corythosaurus was a great hadrosaur to add to the franchise. You have to admit that the colors and patterns of the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park 3 are possibly the best in the franchise. They’re all so intricate and natural.
Some of the sculptures had internal electric motors to move various parts. The Brontosaurs could swing its head on its long neck; Triceratops could wag the tip of its tail; Tyrannosaurus leaned over to snarl at its prey, and the Corythosaurus turned its head.
Corythosaurus casuarius skull schematic. I thought it would be useful to colour the different skull parts to give people a better idea of its anatomy.
🎨🦕Here's PMBO with a grand artwork wip!, a paleoart of Corythosaurus, one of my favorite dinosaurs
Again i'm quite challenging myself, quite so that the background might be it's own drawing too!

In James E Allen’s ‘Corythosaurus’ (1938), two dinosaurs are depicted next to a lake. The image is from a group of six lithographs of prehistoric monsters commissioned by Sinclair Refining Company. #FossilFriday #Dinosaurs #Fossils
Adding more details to my Corythosaurus skull model. Also fixing up the palatal area so that it articulates with the braincase. Still need to fix up details in other areas to make it really accurate tho. #FossilFriday
Work in progress for one of my next #hadrosaur skulls I'm #sculpting in #Blender. Corythosaurus casuarius. The general shape is there. But I need to tweak a lot of details and make sure everything is as accurate as possible.

A similar loop is seen in the nasal passage of the extinct hadrosaurian dinosaur Corythosaurus. More complex loops are seen in Lambeosaurus. These were likely used both in the extinct African bovids &these dinosaurs to produce low frequency noises that travel over long distances
Having Bambi on the TV at my grandparents' house this morning inspired this series of Disney-esque dinosaur caricatures. Here Dinosaur Park Formation (DPF) taxa Hesperonychus, Mercuriceratops, Gorgosaurus, Corythosaurus, and Eodelphis reimagine @Disney's "Dinosaur"
