Ngl, when i think about it...I may have deviated too far from the original design for this one. Tbh this was the most spiteful one I did so I actually didn't enjoy doing this one.
What do y'all think?
#Baryonyx
Hey are we talking about the Fallen Kingdom Baryonyx again? It's honestly grown on me over the years.

@ThePyrateCove OH MY GOD idk how well you work w reptiles but fat nosed man
i took inspiration from crocodiles and spinosaurus. other baryonyx-like dinos!
The lush forest of Paleo Pines seems to suit the #Baryonyx with its gorgeous plum colours! 😍You can find this #theropod steed close to rivers and ponds, where it feels most at home.

@Shesterrni OMG THAT DINO ART!!! It would be dope to see you draw my Baryonyx! Thanks for the chance! :3
I personally suspect that #Spinosaurus is a chimera. The tall spines initially described by Ernst Stromer in 1915 clearly come from a tall-spined, Baryonyx-or-Suchomimus-like animal - perhaps a bear-like littoral generalist... -> TBC
@notgxku Got two really cool ones and then literally just Rudy the Baryonyx from Ice Age
@JellyEnvy Valor the Baryonyx
Imperious Victorious the Megalosaurus
Grapnel the Mosasaur
Tasi the Dyatrima
So, nearly everyone loves the Jurassic World website Baryonyx, but I don’t really see that much love for the other designs (the para and pachy in perticulary). I really like them, and I think this is the aesthetic the new films should have had.
Been a little bit since I did a digital dino thing. This is not a scene in Creatures of Avetoro BUT this specific Baryonyx has appeared in it. Just reread Chapter 6 and you’ll find em

#ArtAdventCalendar day 2 - I saw someone post the 'heavy claw' of the spinosaurid dinosaur Baryonyx walkeri for #fossilfriday so here is my watercolor illustration of the same specimen - I love doing watercolor paintings of fossils.
