A #Fragonard painting, lost for 200 years, has been purchased by a French collector for €7.68M in Epernay, sold by Enchères Champagne. Estimated at €1.5/2M, Jean-Honoré Fragonard's "A Philosopher Reading” had been rediscovered during an inventory of an estate in the Marne.
@IUBWORKS I would love to request a painting of Xayah and Rakan as "The Secret Message" by Boucher or this panel from Fragonard's "Progress of Love" 🥰

Y'all ever just... start making a keycap set based on Jean-Honoré Fragonard's The Swing? No? Just me? Okay...
I'm very tempted to put more of that sky blue-green in there to match the painting, keycap standards be (further) damned.
Happy Valentine's Day!...with rose and matcha @sugarfina tea on a swing, ala #Fragonard's scandalous painting "The Swing." Project by Audrey Sylvyana for VP312 Product Presentation class with @anekong.
After a frustrating linguistics class I got to work more on my presentation about Fragonard's Diana and Endymion painting for tomorrow and just reading up on classical mythological paintings MAKES ME SO HAPPY
was gonna stream this but I passed out! gonna finish it tomorrow and stream the rest of it then! I'm using Jean-Honoré Fragonard's "The Swing" as inspiration. The Rococo style is probably my favorite painting era so I'm going to study more into these types of paintings!
a painting of dorothea that i was working on... also doubled as a study of jean honore fragonard's "a young girl reading"
