@eatedcookie 👀 I LOVE manganese violet!! The texture definitely comes out more on cold press, but I love using it for the hue in shadows, it adds so much interest... Also, if you like granulation, Schminke makes a really nice Potter’s Pink! I used it all over this piece
Thank you so much to @louisefletcher_art for inviting me into her welcoming Art Tribe group to talk about my creative processes. Here is a section of the watercolour demo we did together exploring fluidity, granulation , transparency and opacity- and al… https://t.co/5WbY1koXLf

Guys!! I'm one step closer to achieving my dream of making art prints!! 😃 I upgraded my scanner and I'm just amazed at the quality of the scans. It even picks up the granulation of the water colors!
Dean Pritchard @deanatlarge and his slight profile selfie was great fun to paint. You may have noticed I’m a very big fan of watercolours with lots of granulation… 👀😬 https://t.co/f2naVTiKFE
Today's #TreasureTuesday is this tiny looped piece of gold held together with granulation. This is probably from a #Roman necklace or bracelet in fashion during the 3rd century. This example has been donated to #Sandwich Museum 1/2

This didn't turn as cute as the other 2 😭😭😭 this paper takes granulation to another level.🚢💦💦 Welp! For #mitsucho Monday!
A closer look at the painting I did during this morning's live stream. I used various things, from salt to granulation medium and dead flowers to get different textures. I'm thinking of calling it Agate Shore.
Daily Leaf 339: Ok fine, I’ll admit coldpress paper helped to showcase the #beautiful granulation in @otokano_art #handmadewatercolor paints.
The feeling of my brush catching on bumpy paper still makes my skin crawl, though

More experimenting with #Winter effects using #watercolur #granulationmedium . Slightly better result, more control, using Hahnemuhle Aquarelle fine grain 425gms as on third pic rather than smooth coated cartridge. (Quite like this last one a bit like a #Cumbria stream in spate)
Watercolor WIP. 😊 The granulation here was really fun to experiment with.
Excavations of Ancient Etruscan cities and burial sites in Italy in the mid-19thC. brought about a revival of #Etruscan designs in #jewellery. In particular fine, beaded granulation and #filigree work. See two wonderful examples in our next #auction https://t.co/FmqMFA1iZt
Granules of light as pretty as snowflakes... #GranulationInspiration
