October is the season for school festivals in Japan.　Yutaka Yamamoto's new film 'Twilight (Hakubo)' has the scene of school festival which reminds us Kyoani. This is quite natural because Yamamoto directed Haruhi's famous school festival episode.

Yutaka Yamamoto started his own studio 'Ordet' after leaving KyoAni. He directed 'Kannagi' with A1 studio in 2008. The place of the story is Miyagi, the damaged area in the earthquake 2011. This is the reason why Yamamoto wants to help these area by his work.
