The Breadnut is native to Mesoamerica, and is thought to have been an important plant to the Mayans, being used both for it's wood, and possibly as food for livestock. (and maybe food for the Mayans as well)

While I like the artworks for Aurora and Sacniete, I've been thinking about getting new ones that better suit them, especially for book 1

Plus, I just changed Sacniete's height from 5" to 4'2" after I learned today that it better fits actual heights of Mayans

These are night sky photos w/o light pollution. This is what the Egyptians saw every night. This magical beauty is why they were obsessed with the night sky. Even the Mayans had an observatory tower which I was fortunate enough to see. I hope to see night skies like these soon
