My love in gaming is Action Adventure. Your Zeldas and your Metroids. Jump doesn't really strike me as a Metroidvania character, with a stack of powerups to acquire.

Canonically, this would be like the 4th / 5th time she's encountered / killed him!
Then the Ridley evolution, I know that metroids have a pretty wild evolution cycle, but you can see the transitions, for Ridley it's like Rat > Dragon.
