because not only can they transform into pretty much anything and are borderline impossible to kill, in theory they can just keep gaining more and more mass and potentially envelop the entire universe

Fun fact. Two years ago we learned about digital comics at school and had to make a lil practice game in powerpoint, super simple.

Mine was called "Is It A Mimic?", and you had to click objects in a room and rotate them around until you found a mimic.

That was the game.
