Betty Dean, she was a golden age character who was a cop then later a reporter, she convinces Namor to fight in Marvel Mystery Comics she was Namor's first surface love, a long time friend, and later became Nita's adopted mom. Betty is very important to Sub-Mariner lore.

fighting the urge to rant about Namor's costume design again, its been 4 years now? since his black armor dropped, I'm still upset every time I see that belt, why couldn't the artist connect it? why are other artists not giving him the fishnet up the sides but keeping that belt!

*nods*, whenever I try to draw wings I get very flustered when it comes to feather sizes. lol. For Namor's wings they are like so small usually artists draw like 3 feathers and that's it, like this one.

However Ross's wings always seem to be in motion, and I love them best-

It's not really racebend, Namor is a biracial character, his mother isn't white, Atlanteans can be any race & it would work. Namor's earliest appearances was him fighting against white people for hurting his home/people & he calls them white devils. Tenoch would be great as Namor
