Hurst later stated, Rotor's redesign was all Len's doing. As Ben said, "He went on about it a bit to the lead design artist, who listened intently, looking like he was going to argue... But simply shrugged and said, 'Okay.'"

The first artist for the Sea3on comic actually tried-

proper character.

In Sea3on, he's given the name "Rustbucket" and is one the failed experiments of Robotnik, most of which ended up in one place and befriended one another. He appears prominently in Chapter 7 of Sea3on.

In Knothole, he's given the name "Big F"-

LITTLE FACT: The INITIAL goal for Naugus' inclusion in our film was for him to be the version of Naugus from SatAM, but the team on the Sea3on comic & NOW the animated series was already very much on their way, so we opted to continue where the Archie reboot left! https://t.co/4tbBwwLiLM

While most are aware of the Sea3on webcomic continuation of Sonic SatAM, one of SatAM's more obscure webcomic semi-sequels is Sonic Duality!

Sonic Duality is somewhat of a partial continuation to SatAM, continuing the story after Doomsday, but with some alterations-

The Sea3on comic uses the "Naugus" spelling, as do many SatAM fan continuations.

Sea3on Origins: Origins

It's still so odd to think that modern Sea3on is a reboot of an older Sea3on comic from the early 2000s lol.

There's a ton more gals who've contributed to the history of SatAM, but I can't mention all in detail, so here's a list of others:
Kayte Kuch and Sheryl Scarborough - Writers of "Sonic Past Cool"
Laura Adams - Colorist of Sea3on Chapter 7

Btw, this edited panel originated from issue 6 of the old Sea3on webcomic.

The old issues were illustrated by different people for different panels, and it isn't specified who did what. But the artist is one of the lovely people listed here in the credits of the issue! https://t.co/TPNId86XiJ

Did you know that due to a mix-up, two artists drew the same panels for issue 4 of the pre-rebooted Sea3on comic?

The original Sea3on comic assigned different panels to different people. And due to a mix-up, the original owner of FUS, Sonique, assigned panels 110 and 111 to two-

Additionally, Sea3on drew a piece of artwork featuring this design, along with pilot Sally and SoA phase Sally. Nex would later post a colored version of this design, albeit with the hair separate from the rest of her head,-

Certain members of the Sea3on staff, such as Sally Acorn VA Laura Olson/Blue, had even created some animation tests (although her full test has been lost to time).

Nothing ever came of "SatAMations", and along with the lack of planning, spreading out production to include-

The writer for Sea3on, , had heard about Ben's plans to make him a more active member of the FFs, so he planted the seeds for this early on by having Tails start to go on more missions.

Sea3on uses the latter spelling for the character, and neither spelling seems to be incorrect, as both were used in some capacity.
