Toei's design choices for Laura are really good. Her design is less revealing than the typical sea shell bra, but it's obviously not regular human clothing. The ribbon decoration works way better than the rings they used in Mermaid Melody.

Comparing cel photos against Toei's recent movie remasters. The difference in colour correction across the movies is very inconsistent. Movies like the first and eighth are largely pretty accurate, crop aside ofc, while movies 7 and 9 and many others have a strong yellow tint.
