We're preparing for a hot Christmas in Australia. In fact, it looks a lot like this Australian battle map I drew!
What Aussie monster do you fear? For me it's the Fly Swarm.

This map's inspired by my own backyard: the great Aussie bush! Tell me, what fantasy creatures do you imagine would live in a fantasy Australia?

Three Australian familiars (and one monster mixed in) stat blocks were put together to supplement the Australian Billabong map, all of which you can download on the page below:

I wanted to do something more to help with the bushfires, so for Jan & Feb proceeds from this Australian Billabong #battlemap are going to the Animal Rescue Collective. #dnd #dnd5e #pathfinder #tabletop #rpg #roll20

Wombats even got a megafauna brother! The Diprotodon, a big motherfucker. He’s also a criptid, the Bunyip. Bunyips are a creature from aboriginal mythology (tho the name can vary between mobs), that hangout in billabongs, creeks and other watering holes.
Oh look! A delightful painting showing Ghost Swagman in the Billabong! Source: https://t.co/dLdnTwcrg1

Note to self: steer clear of Australia's billabongs. After seeing this depiction of the bunyip, I have no interest in meeting one face to face. Props to artist @scottpurdy for this amazing work (©Paizo). https://t.co/bWKTOjKA8Q #figmentals #bunyip #folklore

Design commission for @adaylitdream. They wanted a bunyip and I was only too happy to oblige. I went with a mix of the watery colors of a billabong and the reddish orange of the outback.
