Today's heroine is Blodeuwedd, from Dead in Vinland by @LeCCCP, a great resource management survival game where you'll be chopping trees as much as chopping heads off your foes. Lots of customization options to make your experience tailor-made, too, which is very welcome!
BLODEUWEDD: Her story is found in Mabinogi where she was created from flowers to be the wife of Lleu Llaw Gyffes. She betrays and kills Lleu with her lover. As punishment, she is turned into an owl, hated by all other birds.

Gwydion, a skilled and cunning enchanter, used his magic to defeat Pryderi, the beloved King of Dyfed. He and Math also created the flower maiden Blodeuwedd out of the blossoms of oak, broom, and meadowsweet.

"She wants to be flowers, but you make her owls. You must not complain, then, if she goes hunting."

Blodeuwedd, “Flower face”, contemporary meaning, Owl. A heroine of the 4th branch of The Mabinogi. Created by the magicians Math & Gwydion, to counter a curse placed by Arianrhod on her son, she was made from flowers broom, meadowsweet & oak #FolkloreThursday (Art by Yuri Leitch)
The Welsh hero Lleu Llaw Gyffes was cursed to never have a human wife. So the fairest maiden ever seen was conjured up from the flowers of the oak, broom and meadowsweet, and she was named Blodeuwedd.
