Sorry to hear about the passing of the great Paul Coker Jr. for some reason never really mentioned when fans discuss The Usual Gang Of Idiots, but his work was full of warmth, joy & craziness, and he may actually be my favourite Mad artist of them all.

Members of The Usual Gang of Idiots are reporting the passing of Paul Coker Jr. at age 93. Besides being a prolific MAD Magazine illustrator known for his “Horrifying Cliches” series he also did the character designs for all of the Rankin-Bass Christmas specials from 1969 onward.
