I know it looks next to nothing like Candy's sword. I just found it funny that the closest thing to Candy's sword was the fucking holy sword Excalibur.

The amount of cool little hints to their Cleric nature is so great to me.

Excalipurr is a play on word based off the fabled sword of Arthurian Legend Excalibur.

According to his description, Excalipurr’s blade seems to choose who is deemed worthy of wielding it, similar to how Excaliber can only be wielded by those who are considered a true king.

Just realized that even though Nightcrawler and Meggan evoke fairy elements, technically Brian is the fairy in "Excalibur." The Welsh/Brythonic term for Fairyland is Annwn, "The Otherworld." Brian's father is from Otherworld, so Brian is half-fairy.
