This is all about hats! This impressive headpiece was immortalised on canvas by Norwich School artist Joseph Clover (1779-1853). Perhaps he was more taken with the hat than the wearer, as this painting is simply titled 'Portrait of a Lady with Ostrich Plume Hat'.
