I think the Emi Izuzu WG is so much more important than we give it credit. Her shape is REALLY similar to the way most WG artists draw fat. I think this is one of the first times a well known piece of Media showed Fatness as this, rather than just a cartoony circle as well

To elaborate, I think the work in this show really came from a place of self deprecation and wanting to love my body, but not being able to. My work now is more of a celebration of fatness and I'm happy to see the difference now.
