Egh... BLUR brutes are just gorillas. No rhino in them what so ever. That Pachyderm look wasn't translated into them for some reason.

You can see it in Isaac's concept art. They look Rhino like. But somehow certain people saw apes.

Classic! My only complaint about this movie are the inserted closeup shots of a real ape when Charles Gemora’s gorilla suit is so much cooler looking. I love gorilla suits in old movies bc they have the exaggerated style of comic-book monster-gorillas. “Realism” is boring!
