The Dragon of Mordiford  was said to reside just outside the Herefordshire  village of Mordiford, at the confluence of the River Lugg and the River Wye.
From early life, the green dragon, was said to have loved a small girl named Maud who resided in Mordiford

🌿🎀🌿May Day in Herefordshire... crosses woven from birch & rowan were hung over cottage doors & seed-beds to ward off bad luck & the spells of Witches, also birch trees decorated with red & white ribbons were stood by stables, to protect horses from the Fae.
