Quite a few acclaimed artists joined the Polish Legions. When not fighting they often painted or drew scenes of soldiers' everyday life and portrayed fellow soldiers. One of those artist Legionaries (and my favourite one) was Leopold Gottlieb (1883-1934).

How did the Roman Republic’s levy Legions innovate and adapt new tactics?
Legions were formed to face threats by a Consul/General for one year. After the year, the Legion was disbanded, and the Legionaries went home.

I'm far from being self-aggrandizing about my work, but the thing I love most in CodeX is that girls can be legionaries.
