I've always loved floating areas in classic JRPGs. They usually present a challenge to reach and are important places. Some of my favorites:

Kingdom of Zeal - Chrono Trigger
The Floating Continent - Final Fantasy VI
Doom Island - Lufia series

I wasn't upset with Maxim's overall look honestly. I also dig Guy's design but it didn't really fit his Lufia 2 personality (he was a bit of a doofus but he wasn't a total lunkhead.)

Lexis looks like he's one bump on the noggin away from a Flux Capacitor. Selan looked great!

I wish that Lufia would make a comeback.

But not like it did on the DS.

On the left we have the character Tia from Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals and on the right we have Tia from the "remake," Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals.

Not so exciting today, last two colour concepts, Lufia 2 and Robotrek (with the world's derpiest robot).

Breath of Fire 1 & 2 are on the backburner till I can decide on their base designs... or I may just shelve them for a full BOF collection later on...

Beat and the Fortress of Doom and immortalized my feelings on that horrible bridge sidequest...

Game is a pretty eh DQ clone for the SNES. Graphics and music are great, everything else... you need patience. It's frankly not amazing but it grew on me, I guess.
