Not all Megaloceros were giants, M. matritensis from Spain was a red deer-sized form adapted to warmer climates. Its antlers weren't as palmated, but the antler structure is the same. It probably evolved from the Central European species M. savini.

Praemegaceros verticornis, a very large species from the Middle Pleistocene of Europe. Despite the name, the genus isn't thought to be ancestral to Megaloceros, they evolved into large forms independently, curious isn't it?

Since you all having some Megaloceros moments here on Twitter I sat down and made this proud boi. Really like how the antlers turned out. The fur is like a mix of Reindeer and Red deer as well based on cave art and some other artists lovely potrations.
