It's fine for what it's going for, outlines and all I think it looks nice! Though the fact that color splash's promo art shows they can clearly do vibrant shading while keeping the quirks of the modern style makes me wish future games had it, it's the perfect middleground

Another player character from my ongoing pirate campaign, The Starlit Sea! Jocelyn "Sunny" Iwatani, A Harbohti (imp) Samurai with one arm and one eye. Was a challenge to make the colors work given how chaotic the color palette was, but I think I found a middleground.

Why not a fun middleground? Shrinking down and going into an abandoned house, after throwing a car in it to make entrance, and then rub one out to your own news broadcast!
