shape is based around pokkén sceptile (taller and leaner), mainline sceptile is shorter and chunkier (albeit cuter)

ideally albas sceptile has to be middleground between the two

That's fair honestly, personally I really love the design cause it feels like Asura's Wrath but wish there was more pig in there, while not being full beast, and hope BotW2 has a nice middleground.
Also Cadence of Hyrule has a great Ganon, love that he plays the organ like OoT.

Demitri is my favorite shoto variant in fighting games. Good variance on his fireballs, divekick that can bring him closer or pop him further away, Akuma teleports and raging demon, solid buttons. He's a great middleground of all the classics and I just like vampires a lot.

I finished my tilemap packing tool!
it eats a painterfriendly export from aseprite, and spits out 1 map for each layer (background, foreground and middleground) that is highly compatible with 4-way autotiling:D (the blue bits r tilesets I haven't made yet hehe). saves lotsa time

Love the color palette so much! I think the character is very easy to read, but the rest not so much. I think you need to focus on separate the foreground, middleground and background with both contrast in values and colors. Hope I didn't overstep my boundaries by making an edit

Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 tier list. B is a middleground, so A is pretty good, S is amazing, S+ is amazing-er. C is dislike, D is strongly dislike, F is my least favorite character.
