Aethra is of one of the Oceanids from Greco- Roman mythology. She is sometimes called the wife of Atlas and mother of Hyas, the legendary ancestor of the Hyantes or Boeotians, the Pleiades & the Hyades, instead of Pleione, another Oceanid.
