I can't stand the IDW comics, but I appreciate them taking influence from G1 instead of just referencing it. I especially appreciate their use of pallets and shading in the art. The actual stories are miserable, but I can't knock the actual craft on show.

As much I lean towards using warm colours in drawings, some of my favourite work has worked with cooler colour pallets.... maybe this is because i like blue a lil too much

I came to the conclusion that my art style looks good when I use thick lines♥

As much as I love thin lines (I need so much practice), I feel very comfortable drawing with "sticker-like" lines.

It goes well with my color pallets.
