Pickers. I don't know what they pick

There is a folktale in Kent about a boy who discovered the prince of snakes imprisoned by fire and released him, reaping rewards for himself and his family. I have always wondered whether this came to Kent from farther afield, brought by hop pickers perhaps?

Sava Šumanović (1896-1942) (https://t.co/KnuS05wUQL) is considered to be one of the most important Serbian painters of the 20th century. This is the left panel of his triptych "Pickers" (1941) - excellent.

I've got a lot on my plate at the moment with tons of other projects. But people seemed to enjoy the Pickers concept, so I may or may not consider adding it to the list of things I'd like to try doing eventually.

Just gotta try and make the protagonist easy to draw over and over

Happy to finally share the piece I did for issue 32.

thinking about doing a silly webcomic got me thinking about an old oc universe of mine and how I could reboot it.
kinda gross, but it's all about people called "Pickers" who can sneeze boogers with different powers. An old idea of mine but I have such a soft spot for the concept.
