Mosasaurus were large marine reptiles that most likely were the top-order predators of their time, they are related to the lineage of monitor lizards.
In the scorching canyons of Uokla, armored herbivores dominate.
This is bad news for predators, but they've found ways around it.
The Dojabul uses its enormous horns and powerful neck muscles to scoop up and flip armored prey.
One scenario that I haven't seen often is an invasive species upending the natural order.
This is explored in the shared world anthology "Remnants", created by @WordsBySC and published by @fedowar, in which new apex predators appear and devastate the world.

Moose are the largest of all the deer species. Standing up to seven feet at the shoulders and weighing up to 1800 pounds, they have very few natural predators.
Pixscale originated in a dense forest, where it evolved its small wings for escaping predators. Its unique ability to create a smoke screen using a dust-like powder from its scales is said to be a defense mechanism against larger predators, allowing it to make a quick escape.

@Davidjsalter I love both your predators and your raptor drawings.
Here’s one of my drawings that I have a soft spot for .
Arboreraptor: small natives of the primeval forest biome, they climb and glide from rare trees, and if you are unlucky it will pick up and bury your items!
Sedillodon: predators that wait for their victims to get close to the water for an ambush!

@kopper0625 *Obviously* because of their lack of legs!
All of the slugcats "predators" that are often instantly aggressive have *MORE LEGS* than the slugcat, indicating more *POWER*, which is the reason puny two-legged beasts like scavs and slugcats must use spears to imitate greater power!!
@BeastofOblivion Whales share a common ancestor with hooved critters (deer, cows, camels, etc), and before they became the apex water predators, they were basically hooved wolves that could reach the size of modern day bears. Carnivorous ungulates. Totally bizarre and cool
Lacertanihil Imperator is a highly derived Noasaur adapted for the open sagebrush and plains of northern Caira. These 6 ton predators are highly efficient walkers, often jogging down their preferred ceratopsid or iguanadont prey and putting their powerful bite to use.
@Pan_Tastique Punchbunny! Is a love letter to all the action/adventure shows I used to watch as a child. I like to mix cute, colorful bunnies with powerful violent predators for an extremely fun ride.

The Stegosaurus relies on its plates to intimidate its any predators, and even so, their hides (along their necks), are especially difficult to penetrate with teeth or with bullets. Their thagomizers have been noted to accidentally graze and impale humans
