The Fakemon are the new Water Starters in my region. They were imported from another region to be sold as pets but their aggressive nature quickly saw them fall out of favor. They use their stained glass like bodies to attract prey. Their fins are razor sharp. Art by @Mat4265
The story on how Lilly lost her eye changes every time she tells it. Sometimes lost to beast, weapon, or childhood mishap, all these stories are told with a dramatic flare to her ensnared prey. The actual story is less exciting, to say the least.

Toxidan, Ninnue and Shinuebi, poison and electric type, their bodies exude a toxic smoke to confuse and debilitate their prey.

@GailSimone I'm (slowly atm) working on Knife Edge, a science-based graphic novel about wildlife and the complex problems that they face from human-caused issues like habitat fragmentation to more natural problems like deadly prey. 😁🐾 My archive is here: https://t.co/q8Wf1xWHvm
#SundayFishSketch I'm a day late but I just had to paint this image of a Robust Ghost Pipefish which looks like some sort of cosmic sci-fi alien. These fish mimic seagrass in both movement and external appearance which helps them to catch prey. 🐠
This hours Cookie is, Tiger Lily Cookie!

I find it extra cute that Earthspark Megatron calls Twitch "Little Bird" when he turns into an V-22 Osprey.
Him large bird.
Silvo actively uses other folks appearances to lure in prey. It’s just harder if the victims know who he’s pretending to be. 👌 https://t.co/pNN7etiIH6

Grinadugol
"A ferocious dragon that, unlike other species, has developed a distinctive breath, a charged slime that shoots at high pressure and electrocutes its prey.
You'd better not be its target as this dragon is very fast, reaching you before you've even started to run."
Aardwolf
The Aardwolf is an insectivorous relative of the hyena residing in East and Southern Africa. Unlike hyenas, an aardwolf's teeth are not suited for eating or hunting large prey.
Hopping on the #PokemonEvoSwap train - did my favorite mon, Hydreigon! Little Hydreigon runs around eating anything that moves with three heads. Deino is a fearsome hunter that flies around on six wings - though it can't see, its impeccable sense of smell allows it to track prey. https://t.co/6kwX056nQu

There are still places where you can travel the woods like in the old days, riding a red horse and searching for your prey. Those places exist in fantasy: the only human exile from the real world, which is run by the machine. It does not matter how unrea… https://t.co/Q1J3qvSn5P
Mosasaurus.
Meaning “Lizard of the Meuse River”, these whale like marine reptiles lived in the seas of the late Cretaceous, and was the top predator for the time, with a powerful bit force to crush down it’s prey.

Keep vigilant. @TycoonTigers mainly rely on their sense of sight and hearing rather than smell when hunting prey. They stalk prey from the rear to get as close as possible. Then they take down their prey with a powerful bite to the neck and/or throat.
@DymeArachnyd Jeffry is a Western mountain harpy.
Fun fact. They take over 20 years to reach maturity and chicks leave the nest within a few days of hatching and form flocks with unrelated chicks from different nests for protection and enabling them to forage more efficiently for small prey.
