I do use scanlines mostly to hide the natural blurriness associated with non integer scales, but I think I don't need that any more.

sprite test Walking robots are probably a more pleasant test subject than bubbles. And like suggested: More than 1 sprite per scanline. But now to the problem: I have to find a way to move them vertically without having more than 8 sprites in a row.

Some progress on this was once lost in a surprise reboot. Finally decided to get back in the saddle redraw the lost work, and added a nicer sky gradient.
