I'm happy with how the textures came out. even though PC crash wayyyyyyyyy too many times.

The past days I fixed him all up for animation - retopology, texturing, and then a whole proper rig with ik/fk switches?? who knew rigging would be so much fun!! I'm so thrilled to actually get to animate something I made entirely from scratch!!!

Edited his face, body proportions, and hair. Only thing that really could be improved from this point on is face texturing, like line art. But it's not too easy to get that looking right.

The face is based off one of his expressions from the anime. /blendshape.

i'm sure that was part of it, but was it "mainly?" i know that was the thought behind some of the texturing, like the rubbery suits, but brad bird's 2D design was always very stylized too
i'm asking genuinely, because i'm curious, i thought it was more of a bonus
