Thalassodromeus sported a pair of strong jaws that it probably used to seize prey. It could also run pretty well as much as it could fly!
Two digital morning sketches for today´s #PterosaurPtuesday. Portraits of Europejara (left) and Thalassodromeus (right), two Cretaceous #pterosaurs that possessed large, distinctive crests. #paleoart #sciart
Good evening everyone! Tonight’s pterosaur of the day is thalassodromeus! Thalassodromeus was a pterosaur that lived during the Cretaceous period. It was found in Brazil 🇧🇷. It’s name means “sea runner”. See you explorers tomorrow!🤠

I've been thinking a lot about pterosaurs this week, so here's #paleoart of two Thalassodromeus for #FossilFriday. Thalassodromeus had a very odd skull, even for a pterosaur: weird jaws, huge crest, and expanded jaw muscle space.
Thalassodromeus sethi overhaul, thanks to @GreatDragon15 It did not take as long as expected. This #pterosaur will star as the main Subject of my first Blog Post. It also is my favorite Pterosaur.

For #FossilFriday, here's my take on the mid-sized azhdarchoid #pterosaur Thalassodromeus. There's some neat features on the skull of this animal which probably relate to facial tissues - I wrote about them at my blog not so long ago: https://t.co/IxWpLHJ1FL #paleoart
New blog post: The appearance and lifestyle of Thalassodromeus sethi, one of the most awesome #pterosaurs of all.
