Tsubaki, Nanami's love interest, has a little bit of Hyde, L'arc en ciel's vocalist. Since I was a teen I had a soft spot for J-rock and rocker dudes in general and that's how Tsubaki was created.

Is industrialpunk a genre? I’m looking for a term between #steampunk and #cyberpunk to use for a story set in a space colonization period.
Cyberpunk is too pretty (but exists for rich people) and Steampunk is not quite a fitting tech. 🤔
